Aesthete WordPress Theme
Aesthete WordPress Theme is designed in the renaissance/antique style.
It includes portfolio and catalog functionality and supports threaded comments. Custom header and footer are available through the theme options. The theme has native support of several plugins.

FAQ
Q: What is portfolio
A: Portfolio is a gallery of personal works. These can be paints, photos, self-made toys/puppets, web-designs or any other self-made stuff. For each work there is one preview (thumbnail) image but there may be many images describing the work. Also there can be a text description of the work.
E.g. if you’ve designed a calendar you most probably want to show some (or all) of the calendar pages and a description of the work.
Q: How to set up and use portfolio
A:
- Create a category for it (Say “My works”)
- Select the category in the theme options as portfolio category
- Create a post within the category, save it
- Attach an image for this post (via add media file dialog). The image should appear in the “Gallery” Tab
- (optionally) Add description and/or other images of the work to the post body
- Publish the post
- Repeat steps 3-6 for other works.
Q: What is Catalog
A: Commonly catalog is a list of goods for sell/rent.
Q: How to set up and use Catalog
A: Setting up the catalog is almost exactly the same as portfolio but DO NOT add images at step 5.
Q: How to change header image
A:
- Upload your image to your hosting to /wordpress-install/wp-admin/themes/aesthete/img/headers You can probably use an ftp-client to do this
- Go to WordPress admin area (wp-admin) to Aesthete Theme Options
- Set the option “Header Image” to “Your Image”
- Images will appear. Select one of them (your one)
- Save changes
Q: How to change footer
A: The footer template can be changed through the theme options. No need to edit php-files.
