removing Archives & renaming Categories

I love this theme, I love the support offered and I'm very sorry if I have missed a post regarding my question but I couldn't see thread. I want to use my wordpress as a website and planned to turn catorgries into a menu or am I better to remove catorgries and archives totally and if so how do i do it please?

You can use custom menu to put categories into a menu. You can't remove categories and archives, but you can use pages instead of posts, they don't have categories or a chronological order.
This isn't a theme question, but a Wordpress one.

hi anna,

i understand wordpress not theme comment and appolgise i'm a bit rubbish however i have seen several sites without the categories and archives shown on the pages so somehow there must be a way?

if you have any ideas if wordpress support forums it will be a big help as i do plan to keep this theme as i love t but do need to tweek my wordpress i think.

Just google "wordpress" and specific keys search of what you want or http://wordpress.org/support/ but first you must think of what you really want because it's not so clear
